Owner’s introduction to Tessa’s Restaurant: “We’re new. We just opened. We make our own salad dressings, and bread and desserts. All our vegetables and eggs and milk come from our farm. The kids’ menu is the same as the other menu except you can get the food smaller. Would you like tea?”
Customer observations: Desserts get top billing on the menu. Both kid and adult menus offer pizza and mac & cheese. Maple syrup is used liberally. The bean soup rocks.

I will need a reservation the next time I’m in town. Well done, Tess 😀
You’ve got a standing reservation, Miss Heather.
Where is this place, Chris?
On the road between imagination and Rochester. (But mostly in our playroom.)
Seriously, where is this? Why isnt the address under the caption?
Are you guys messing with me? You do realize this is what my daughter said while she was playing restaurant, right…?
I guess I am a restaurant dummy…can’t tell a real one from one make-believe!
Oh nevermind, I just realized it wasnt a real restaurant. haha
LOL, Kim and Kurt. I’ll have to keep that in mind for future posts on the line between reality and imagination…
Christina, I never thought that you would play “mind games” with us on your blog!
I suppose the plastic veggies should have been a dead giveaway! And here I thought all this time that they were just genetically modified veggies… LOL!
Love this!
