Sometimes a picture says it all. Or close enough. So with this post I’m starting a recurring feature called “Picture this.” Words minimal. As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

As this mammoth Goldfish cracker passed us in the grocery store last week, my 6-year-old backed away and declared: “Creepy.” Love that kid.
For more on the insanity of the snack cracker, read this terrific post.

What cracks me up is the big smile on the guy’s face (not the fish). He’s probably thinking “Yay, the big fake fish is a great advertising tool..kids love it” but little does he know…….
I actually felt kind of bad snapping the shot with him grinning like that. But it was the best angle on the fish, so I went with it.
Normally I love when Wegman’s gives samples (especially the cheese!) but this is a bit blatant for them.
How funny. And great reminder about the nutrient value of crackers. My daughter definitely craves them – although we try to go for the “good” ones.
Can I send you a photo to use? I’d think that food photos might be hard to come by sometimes. I was just given something today I wanted to put on my blog but honestly I can’t figure out what to say about it, but I think you might be able to use it. I’ll email it to you within the next few days and you can tell me if you want to use it. Cheers!
